Professor Danilo Mandic Appointed to UNU Hub Steering Committee

Congratulations to Professor Danilo Mandic, Director of AIDA Lab, on his appointment to the Steering Committee of the United Nations University (UNU) Hub on Artificial Intelligence for Climate, Governance and Culture.

Launched by the United Nations University, SOAS University of London and ICEED, the new Hub brings together expertise across disciplines to advance the responsible development and application of AI to some of the world’s most complex challenges spanning climate, governance, culture, health and sustainable development.

Professor Mandic’s appointment reflects his longstanding leadership in machine intelligence and commitment to translating frontier AI research into real-world impact.

We are proud to see AIDA Lab represented in this global initiative, helping strengthen the connection between scientific innovation, policy and institutions and contributing to the responsible deployment of AI for societal benefit.
